We are a group of mothers who arrange tailor-made language exchanges between families in the UK, Ireland, the US, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. We firmly believe that total immersion in a loving family is the most efficient and fun way to improve your children’s language skills.
Rachel sampling a local delicacy! Océane and Rachel hit it off immediately and the 15 day stay with us in France went too quickly between discovering Saint Paul de Vence, Cannes, Monaco, outings to the beach with friends, the swimming pool and shopping. Mme Brigitte L., Nice
Rachel and Océane, aged 17 | Conor and Pablo, aged 14 at Real Madrid Stadium! All went very well indeed. In fact, I can imagine that they are going to be good friends for many years to come. Pablo is a great boy and I met his parents so that was good as well! Mrs Debra P., Essex
Charlotte and Juliette aged 14. Charlotte arrived home safe and happy yesterday. She seems to have had a really good time and Juliette and her family were all very friendly, giving her a great stay. We're sure it must have been good, not just for her confidence, but also her French as she's already ordered some books from French Amazon! We've attached a photo form Charlotte's trip to France and 3 from Juliette's stay in the (much wetter) UK.

Thank you for having found me such a fantastic family where I spend two great weeks, very enriching and full of surprises!! All that would not have been possible without you! So THANKYOU! Cécile G., Alsace
Axel aged 15 from the Vendée region with Ben from Atlanta It was a great experience! I believe Ben's comprehension has improved considerably. Best of all, he's enjoying French class much more. We thoroughly enjoyed having Axel join our family. Ben also loved being with Axel and his family as well. I hope the boys will keep in touch and that they will find a way to meet again next summer. Thank you for finding Barbara and her family for me. I had a great time and would like to go back again. Barbara is coming in the summer hols, and I am currently planning what we are going to do together. William and Victor were well-matched and so I thank you in particular for persisting with your view that this was the right choice make! The boys were good companions and shared a sense of humour. We hope to meet Victor’s family in the future as they plan to visit London at some stage. I am so relieved that we did not opt for a language course where William would have had paid accommodation with an unknown host family (this had been our plan until I came across Lingualinks). Spending time in a family context provides many more opportunities as well as more structure. Overall, we are delighted with both legs of the exchange and we feel the whole experience has been very worthwhile. I will certainly recommend LinguaLinks to any one who happens to mention they are interested in an exchange. Mrs Sarah S., Godalming | Axel has made enormous progress in English. He adored his time in Atlanta and continues to correspond often with Ben and Ellen. Mme Chantal S,. Vendée, pays de la Loire Thank you for this great adventure which involved the whole family and which we look forward to continuing. Well done for the professionalism and efficiency of your service and also for being so available!
Marion is back from her stay with the T family. Everything went really well, she had a great time and is very enthusiastic. We are so delighted with this exchange that you managed to organise at the last minute – and top quality! Mme Marie-Jo R., Mulhouse Annabelle and Camilla aged 12 in Copenhagen Annabelle has just come back from Copenhagen where she spent a week with Camilla. She was really happy there and was made to feel very welcome by the very warm and Francophile family. We hosted Camilla in the South of France during the summer. Camilla is an absolutely delightful girl, open and well mannered. She fitted into our family perfectly.and we were thrilled to get to know her. Thank you so much for making this exchange happen! Mme Marie-Noëlle T., Paris Kate had a wonderful time. The K. family were so welcoming and she really enjoyed staying with them and going to school etc. Her French has improved and she is much more confident speaking. Oliver and Mathilde aged 14 in Geneva The exchange went very well. The match was a very good one. Kate and Manon got along very well and I keep in touch with Marie-Stella, Manon's mother by email. We are discussing the possibility of repeating the exchange next summer - so well done all at Linqualinks it was a very successful exchange.
