We are a group of mothers who arrange tailor-made language exchanges between families in the UK, Ireland, the US, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. We firmly believe that total immersion in a loving family is the most efficient and fun way to improve your children’s language skills.

The French exchange

 

 

We introduce families in France, the UK, Ireland and the U.S. to each other in order to organise French English exchanges for students aged 11 to 18 during the school holidays.

After a rigorous selection and matching procedure based on the information you provide, and your child’s age and interests, you will be personally introduced to the most appropriate French family in order to organise the exchange. 

Your children will spend time in each others’ home during any of the school holidays where dates coincide.  During your child’s stay he/she will enjoy the hospitality of the French family which will include visiting the town or region, and participating in sporting or leisure activities. This total immersion will ensure that your child will improve their French in the most stimulating environment possible.

In return you will offer the same experience to the French child. 

No money is exchanged between families for hosting the children except in specific pre-arranged cases where enrolment in sporting or other activities is required.

Parents and children spend time communicating with each other via internet and telephone prior to their exchange in order to build up a relationship and to prepare their trip.

We have families all over France, including Paris, Bordeaux, Nice and the Côte d'Azur, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

We are now also organising language exchanges in Spain, Italy and Germany.
